About Apocryphal

Apocryphal exists for one reason: to display the beauty of the true Gospel by placing it beside every counterfeit ever offered to humanity. The Bible alone is the Word of God. Jesus Christ alone is Lord. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — apart from any works of the law.

Every religion on this site — every book, every prophet, every ritual — is measured against Scripture. Where they contradict, they are exposed. Where they mimic, the counterfeit is named. We do not respect all religions equally. We love God, we love people, and love tells the truth.

“There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all.” — 1 Timothy 2:5-6

What we affirm

• The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inerrant, God-breathed Word of God.
• Jesus Christ is God the Son, crucified, buried, and bodily raised on the third day.
• Salvation is a gift received by faith, not earned by works, sacraments, or merit.
• All other paths lead to eternal separation from God.
