A collection of 114 "sayings of Jesus" recovered at Nag Hammadi. Ends with saying 114: "every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven." Not remotely apostolic.
Provenance
Coptic manuscript found at Nag Hammadi (1945). Composed well after the eyewitnesses were dead.
Christian Assessment
A forgery. The Jesus of Thomas is not the Jesus of the Gospels.
