Chapter CLXXIII

T1he addresses of Horus to his father when he goes in to see his father, and when he comes out of his great sanctuary to see him Rā Unneferu, the master of Ta-tser, and then they embrace one another; therefore he is glorious in the Netherworld.

2Hail, Osiris; I am thy son Horus; I have come,

3I have avenged (thee).

4I have struck down thy enemies.

5I have destroyed all that was wrong in thee.

6I have killed him who assailed thee.

7I stretched forth my hand for thee against thy adversaries.

8I have brought thee the companions of Sut with chains upon them.

9I have brought thee the land of the South, I have added to thee the land of the North.

10I have settled for thee the divine offerings from the North and the South.

11I have ploughed for thee the fields.

12I have irrigated for thee thy land.

13I have hoed for thee the ground.

14I have built for thee ponds of water.

15I have turned up the soil of thy possessions.

16I have made there for thee sacrifices of thy adversaries.

17I have made sacrifices for thee of thy cattle and thy victims.

18I have supplied there in abundance....

19I have brought thee....

20I have sacrificed for thee....

21I have shot for thee antelopes and bulls.

22I have plucked for thee geese and waterfowl.

23I have bound thy enemies in their chains.

24I have fettered thy enemies with their ropes.

25I have brought thee from Elephantine the fresh water which refreshes thy heart.

26I have brought thee all the plants.

27I have settled for thee on the earth all thy subsistence as to Rā.

28I have made for thee bread at Pu with red grain.

29I have made for thee drink at Tepu with white grain.

30I have ploughed for thee wheat and barley in the Field of Aarru.

31I have mowed them there for thee.

32I have glorified thee.

33I have given thee thy soul.

34I have given thee thy power.

35I have given thee....

36I have given thee....

37I have given thee the dread which thou inspirest.

38I have given thee thy bravery.

39I have given thee thy two eyes, the two plumes which are on thy head.

40I have given thee Isis and Nephthys, they are placed on thee.

41I have anointed thee with the offering of holy oil.

42I have brought thee the offering by which thy face is destroyed.
